At Premier Academy of the Performing Arts, our journey began with a simple mission: to create a space where every child feels seen, supported, and inspired — both in dance and in life.
Since coming under new ownership in July 2014, we’ve spent over a decade building strong community relationships and establishing ourselves as a family-friendly studio focused on connection, child development, and artistic excellence.
Located in the heart of Avon, Indiana, our studio is a place where passion meets purpose. We believe that dance is more than just movement — it’s a powerful journey of growth, discipline, and self-expression. Whether a child dreams of the stage or simply wants to enjoy the joy of movement, every dancer is encouraged to reach their full potential in an environment that celebrates who they are.
Our owner, Miss Meaghan, is a lifelong dancer and devoted advocate for the performing arts. Her love for working with children and nurturing a passion for creativity is woven into the very fabric of our studio. Under her leadership, Premier has grown into a nationally recognized program, earning multiple regional and national awards — but more importantly, becoming a place dancers are proud to call home.

The staff is committed to showing enthusiasm, passion, and dedication to every student, ensuring that each child is recognized as unique and valued.
The Academy’s motto, “Artistry – Imagination – Confidence,” reflects its core values: teaching Artistry through a passion for the art of dance, fostering Imagination by encouraging students to express themselves in performance, and building Confidence by equipping each child with the skills needed to shine, both on and off the stage.
