Level 4 – Invite Only
Level 4 classes at Premier Academy of the Performing Arts are designed for dancers who demonstrate a high level of technical ability, commitment, and passion for their craft. These invite-only classes — including Advanced Tumbling, Pre-Pointe, Pointe, and Company Technique — offer focused training to help dancers reach their full potential.
Instructors provide individualized guidance and mentorship while maintaining the safe, supportive environment Premier is known for. Dancers in Level 4 are expected to show dedication, professionalism, and a desire to grow both artistically and athletically.
With an emphasis on precision, performance, and personal development, Level 4 dancers are challenged to refine their skills, strengthen their artistry, and prepare for higher-level opportunities — all while continuing to build confidence, resilience, and a strong sense of self.
Is My Dancer Ready for Level 4?
Level 4 classes at Premier Academy of the Performing Arts are by invitation only and designed for dancers who are ready for advanced training and a higher level of commitment. Placement is determined by instructor recommendation and director approval based on the following criteria:
- Technical Readiness – Dancers demonstrate consistent technique, strength, and control in their current level, showing mastery of foundational skills and the ability to safely execute more advanced movements.
- Work Ethic & Commitment – Level 4 dancers arrive prepared, focused, and ready to work. They exhibit a strong work ethic, consistent attendance, and a dedication to improving inside and outside of class.
- Physical Preparedness – Especially for Pointe and Advanced Tumbling, dancers must have the strength, flexibility, and body awareness necessary to train safely and effectively at a more demanding level.
- Coachability & Maturity – Dancers should be receptive to feedback, respectful of peers and instructors, and show leadership and responsibility in the studio setting.
- Artistic Growth – A passion for dance, a desire to perform, and a willingness to grow as both an artist and athlete are key components of success at this level.
If you think your dancer is ready to take the next step, we encourage you to speak with their instructor or contact the studio director for an evaluation. We’re here to support your dancer’s journey — every step of the way.
